There are several ways to be involved in international missions with Global Outreach. You can serve for a week or two with a short-term volunteer team. We also offer short-assignment (SAMS) and career missions opportunities through Global.

TEAMS

Short-term volunteer teams have been the backbone of Global Outreach's ministry since its inception. Opportunities abound for individuals or groups to use their talents to "help people to help themselves." Various types of teams are available including medical and dental, construction, leadership training, evangelism, children's ministry and support ministries in orphanages and schools. If you would like to take a team to a mission site, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

SAMS

Not everyone is called to a career in missions. SAMS (short assignment missions) allows individuals or families to participate in missions on a short-term basis (90 days to 2 years). You will work directly with one of our established missionaries on an established project. For more information, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. CAREER MISSIONARIES

For those who feel a demonstrable call to missions as a career, opportunities abound with Global. To be a career missionary one must have a personal salvation relationship with Jesus Christ, be actively working in his local church and have a verifiably good Christian witness. One can work through an established ministry or go to any area the Holy Spirit may lead. For more information, click here. If you would like an application for career missions, click here.
