Crisis In Haiti
Update from the Missionary Care Team
A message from our Haiti team.
13 March 2019
"The situation in Haiti has improved significantly since the mid-February protests which effectively shut down all travel and commerce - even food and water sales - throughout the country of Haiti. Our missionaries there report that travel is not as restricted now, though there continue to be reports of sporadic protests combined with street/road closures. There does not seem to be widespread support, at this time, for prolonged, extensive protests which bring about the disruption that was experienced in February.
We are praying for an extended period of calm that will allow normal activity, especially to allow teams to resume travel unrestricted into and out of Haiti for ministry and site support. We hope to see the level 4 travel notice to be lowered to level 3 soon. Pray with us for peace and calm to reign."
