Update on our Thailand Missionary Retreat
We were recently able to spend several days in Thailand with many of our missionaries from Asia-Pacific countries. It was a time of rest, fellowship, and leadership training. We also heard about work as worship and discussed ideas about building our investment teams.
These missionaries mostly work in closed countries and don't often get to gather with larger groups of like-minded people in this setting. It was refreshing to meet others with similar experiences, to share hardships and joys, and to connect for a few days in a relaxing place.
At the Global Outreach Home Office, we're always looking for individuals and churches interested in becoming investment partners with us. As you invest in us, we in turn can invest into the lives of our missionaries. Some missionaries, especially in other organizations, never see visits from their home office staff--we don't want that to be the case for us. By God's grace, we're planning to host two additional member care retreats this year in Costa Rica and in Uganda. We'd like to do even more, but we can't do any of it without your partnership.
