The Rainey Family

Using Acts 17:28 as a foundation, the Rainey family serves the southeastern Dominican Republic in multiple ways to point to the One in whom we “live and move and have our being.” With Catholicism as the national religion and an undercurrent of strict legalism and tradition in the country, there is a significant need for the understanding of the grace of Jesus Christ in the DR.

Caring for Bodies While Reaching Hearts

As licensed physical therapists, the Raineys work alongside the local church to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the community. They bring medical mission teams to host free clinics, serve through youth sports, and partner with a local after-school program.

By utilizing all as avenues for relational evangelism and discipleship, the Raineys feel called to teach people of all ages that their identity is ultimately found in the One who created them.
