Chacauco Family Campaign
Phase One of the Chacauco Family Campaign is designed to secure ongoing ministry expenses, staff salaries, and utilities at Camp Chacauco and Camp UNPES through the end of 2020.
Camp Chacauco and Camp UNPES provide employment for approximately 20 Ecuadorians. Due to the pandemic, we are without our normal income from Ecuadorian church groups who rent our camp facilities (almost weekly) for church functions. We are also not able to host mission teams from the U.S. who provide a bulk of our funds for ministry and outreach projects, along with ministerial supplies.
Phase One of the Chacauco Family Campaign is 100% focused towards meeting our commitments with our Ecuadorian staff, utilities, and ministry expenses through the end of 2020. We are praying for 400 families or individuals to commit a special donation to this campaign so that we can continue to bless others and share Christ throughout Ecuador. Will you please consider giving over and above your normal support to the Thompson and Yancey Families to help us meet these additional needs?
Donations to the Agape account will help fund various ministries of the PESCA Foundation, the ministry founded and overseen by Steve and Carol Thompson in Ecuador, South America. These ministries include church planting, pastoral training, formal theological education, church leadership development, conferences, retreats, children and youth camps, Vacation Bible Schools, community development/engagement, construction projects, love offerings for pastors and individuals in need, and staff salaries and utilities at Camp Chacauco and Camp UNPES.
